How I Migrated: Duco’s Technical Journey to AWS

The Tech Talk will take place online on the 9th of September at 13:00PM CET. How I Migrated: Technical Journeys to AWS is a three-part webinar series where members of our AWS Startups community along with an AWS Solutions Architect will discuss the reasons they decided to make the move to AWS and will go through the step-by-step process of how they did this. For the third and final episode, Duco will join in, a startup that provides intelligent, self-service data engineering in the cloud, powered by machine learning. Because a large portion of Duco’s clients are in the Financial Services industry, Duco’s technical team needed to reduce end-user latency, increase reliability across different geographic regions, enable faster releases of products and services, and support the specific needs of their clients around regulatory compliance and elasticity to spin servers up and down as required. Learning Objectives: • Understand the importance of elasticity: changing regions in a short amount of time and being able to use as much capacity as needed during customer peak times • Top tips for using Amazon EKS for managed Kubernetes instead of a lift and shift into a single container • Find out why Duco decided on an incremental migration approach and the results this delivered For more information on the event and to register:
