EBAN Workshop and Seedstar Events

EBAN, in collaboration with Seedstars and ABAN, invites you to our Business Angels Workshop, taking place on the 3rd of April in Lausanne, Switzerland, together with the Seedstars Investors Forum on the 4th of April, and the Seedstars Summit on the 5th of April. Join us in Lausanne to learn how to invest as a Business Angel in emerging market based startups! This hands on workshop will feature case studies from angel investors that have invested in Latin America, India and Africa with lessons learned and the best practices on how to expand your portfolio to include also startups from these regions of the world. Consider that emerging markets now represent over 84% of the world population and knowing that the majority of the extra 1.8 billion consumers that will be part of the "consuming class" in 2025 will be living in these markets how can you, as a Business Angel, benefit from the investment opportunities in emerging markets? The Business Angels Workshop take place at the Beaulieu Congress Centre, while the Seedstar Events will take place at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre, on the EPFL university campus.

Mobilizing the Startup Ecosystem of Epirus

The Young Entrepreneurship Startup School (YESS) Project is hosting their Mobilizing the Startup Ecosystem of Epirus event in Mpizani, Greece on the 3rd of April. YESS aims to create the first Cross Border incubator for innovative start-ups in the fields of tourism, design, bluegrowth,  and e-health within the Regions of Apulia, Achaia, Ionian Islands and Epirus. Mobilizing the Startup Ecosystem will feature key panelist discussing the future of the startups in each sector and presentations from international speakers. Demo Day – Business Angels of Slovenia

Business Angels of Slovenia are inviting startups to join for a one day on the 4th of April for the Call for Startups event in Ljubljana to pitch to investors. Business Angels of Slovenia are especially interested in startups with minimal viable product (MVP), which are ready to be introduced to the market.

63rd SICTIC Investor Day

SICTIC is hosting an Investor Day on April 9th in Lugano, Switzerland. The matchmaking event will enable tech startups to pitch and find experienced investors and supporters. Investor Registration The 63rd SICTIC Investors Day is intended primarily for angel investors (also novices). Family offices, fund managers and venture capitalists that want to invest in Swiss Startups are also welcome to attend.

Angels in MedCity Investor Showcase

Join MedCity and Newable Private Investing (NPI) in London, at their Entrepreneur Pitching Event on Thursday 11th April 2019, as part of the Angels in MedCity initiative. This event offers business angels an opportunity to meet and invest in healthcare and life sciences start-ups. You will hear from a cohort of high-growth companies in 10 minute pitches and investors will then have the opportunity for 5 minutes of Q&A after each pitch. The company presentations will be followed by drinks and canapés, allowing you to mingle with the entrepreneurs, like-minded investors and the MedCity and Newable Private Investing team. The company selection is a competitive process and applications have been assessed by a panel of life sciences investment experts. A brochure with information on each pitching company will be available at the event.     Please note: This is an event targeted at an audience of investors. The event organisers reserve the right to reject requests to attend from people not directly invited by the organisers.

Social Impact Through Employee Engagement Training

THE NEXT SOCIETY Innovators Academy
