DLT4ALL Training Days

DLT4All is an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Commission. Started in 2018, it is coordinated by the University of Nicosia and executed by 8 partners from 5 different countries. The project has developed an 8-modules innovative learning curriculum about Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, targeted at students, entrepreneurs, investors and other players in the innovation ecosystem, such as incubators and business coaches. The course will be taught on virtual live classes by a set of Blockchain experts. Dates and Modules: 1. LM0 – Introduction to the course and to the DLT world - January 13th - 15th 2. LM1 – Peer-to-peer Database Design - January 18th - 22nd  3. LM2 – Encryption Techniques - January 25th - 30th 4. LM3 – Consensus Mechanisms - February 1st - 5th 5. €20 m SME Fund for Intellectual Property. Get your refund!

The 2nd application window of the Ideas Powered for business SME Fund was launched on the 1st March 2021 by the EUIPO with the collaboration of the national IP offices. This 20 million grant scheme for European SMEs offers financial support, namely 50% off trade mark and design application fees (national and European) and also 75% off on IP-Pre-diagnostic services. EUIPO speakers Lynn Burtchaell, Sebastien Hanck and Sandrine Buard will discuss how SMEs can get this financial support and also highlight some changes in the second application window, such as the possibility for IP representatives to apply to the SME Fund on behalf of their clients. There will also be plenty of time for questions.

AAIA and AWS are happy to present the Angel Investing Report 2020 in cooperation with Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws i2 Business Angels)! At the launch of the report, you can expect exciting insights into the Austrian angel investing landscape 2020. In addition, they will take a closer look at the status quo of the angel investing scene in Austria with our guests Hansi Hansmann, Karin Kreutzer, Felix Ohswald & Petra Dobrocka.
