Kahoot announced the acquisition of Whiteboard.fi, an online whiteboard tool for teachers and classrooms that helps engage students both in the physical classroom and through remote learning. Whiteboard.fi’s exit marks Janne Jormalainen, EBAN President, second education sector exit, with Reima Linnanvirta as fellow investor. This sector is going through a major transition, as new innovation transforms outdated methods and practices to current time. Janne Jormalainen is involved in a number of educational sector start-ups such as New Nordic School, which is transforming the primary education sector – from knowledge teaching to skills teaching.
